Advanced Open Water Diver / AOWD

diving

You already have an OWD card, and still want more adventures? You even want to break through the 18-metre-limit? Then now is the time for the Advanced Course!
The Advanced Course comprises of five dives, all of which lets you elaborate on different areas. There are two obligatory parts: navigation and deep dive (to 30 metres).
During the NAVIGATION dive, we learn how to use the underwater compass properly, and the basics of underwater orientation, measurement of distances and dive planning.
During the DEEP DIVE, we detail the different effects of gases to the human organism in greater depth that is under higher pressure. We teach all the instructions necessary for dive planning in detail, as well as the solution and prevention of possible problems.
The two main pillars of dive planning are TIME and DEPTH. By knowing how to manage these two factors, you will be much more confident during your dives.
The further three dives you can choose from many kind of adventure dives. I highly recommend the Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB) adventure dive. I have already mentioned the two basic pillars: time and depth. If you can manage these two things, the following significant skill is precise buoyancy. Buoyancy, which is essential in order to attain appropriate movement and advancement, helps us save energy and air, thus allows us to dive for a longer period of time, and last but not least it has a great significance with regard to the protection of corals and the environment. I guess I do not need to describe how a coral garden would look like after the march of walking and springing diver hordes on the sea bottom, do I?…
The next important thing to know is the marine life, about which you can learn during the PADI system Project AWARE adventure dive, the Naturalist or the Fish ID dives.
All of these dives help you get to know the nature and the marine life. Once you are at the point, when you can plan a dive in a professional manner and have perfect buoyancy, you might want to know what you actually see. J This is where you can benefit from these adventure dives. You can rent diving equipment and wetsuit, learn in our school and get certification. Travel to Kenya and spend your holiday on Wasini island.

Further optional adventure dives:
Drift dive, night dive, boat dive, underwater photography, underwater video, multilevel and computer dive, altitude dive, drysuit dive etc…

advanced diverAdvanced Open Water Diver Certification– AOWD:
As an advanced diver, you can dive to a depth of even 30 metres with a dive buddy. Opportunities are unlimited, you can visit wrecks, you do not get disturbed by a minor current, and by this time, you will most probably know which area of diving you are interested in the most. This is where adventures really begin!

How to go on? - Rescue Diver Course:
If you feel like your hobby is becoming more and more important to you, and you plan to go diving once or even several times a year, I recommend to you to take the Rescue Diver Course, which will give you extra confidence, and also enable you to help others. It is essential to take this course for parents diving with their children (of which there are fortunately more and more)!
The Rescue Diver Course takes three to fives days to complete.

Medical examination:
Prior to leaving for a diving trip it is worth checking out this medical questionnaire, and if you respond yes to any of the questions, you will need to have a medical examination conducted by a diving specialist doctor.
